Summer Results 2021


Students will be receiving their results on:

 TUESDAY 10TH AUGUST YEAR 13 STUDENTS ONLY 9AM

THURSDAY 12TH AUGUST YEAR 11 STUDENTS ONLY 9AM

 Students need to be aware that in order to arrive at these results, the teachers at Sacred Heart went through an extremely rigorous process. Student work (including the exams taken) were analysed very carefully, and Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs) were checked and confirmed by both Heads of Department and the Senior Management Team. After that, Sacred Heart School itself was subject to a Quality Assurance process conducted by the exam boards and the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), to ensure that the correct procedures had been followed and that the school’s TAGs were arrived at on the basis of sound evidence.

Once you have received your results:

Given the above information, if you have concerns about any of your TAGs or about how they were calculated, please email exams@sacredheart.southwark.sch.uk stating your name, your candidate number, the particular TAG you are concerned about, and the exact nature of your query.

Once you have received more detailed information about the calculation of your grade, if you still have concerns, then there is an appeals process which you can embark upon. However, you must remember that an appeal can lead to your grade being lowered, as well as staying the same or going up.
