A Level Results 2024
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Camberwell are delighted to report on an excellent set of A Level results, with 57% of all A Level exams taken resulting in grades A*-B - an improvement on last year.
63% of our students have obtained a place at one of the top third universities, leading conservatoires or competitive apprenticeships. 40% of our students obtained a place at Russell Group universities.
Among the many top further education destinations for our students include KCL, UCL, Warwick, Bristol, Birmingham and Nottingham. Other students have also won places at prestigious institutions including Ravensbourne, the Escape Studios and a degree apprenticeship with IBM.
The overall figure for the number of A*-B results this year in our Sixth Form was 57%, while our A*-C results were 85%.
In addition, our B-Tech (‘A’ Level equivalent) results are also outstanding, with the percentage of results attaining distinction or distinction star (equivalent to A-A*) being 88%.
Headteacher Mr Richard Lansiquot said: “I am very proud of all our staff and students and their efforts. The outstanding destinations our students have achieved are direct proof of how hard we have all worked together as a school community.”

GCSE Results 2024
Outstanding GCSE Results at Sacred Heart
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Camberwell - which last year ranked eleventh in the whole country for Progress 8 at GCSE - is celebrating an absolutely outstanding set of GCSE results.
Among the brilliant headline figures, 91% of pupils achieved five GCSEs including a standard pass (Grade 4 and above) in both English and Maths and 74% achieved a strong pass (Grade 5 and above) in both subjects. These figures represent an 8% and 2% rise respectively on last year’s results.
Headteacher Mr Richard Lansiquot said: “Congratulations to everyone in the Sacred Heart community on the outstanding GCSE results for 2024! This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, resilience and dedication of our staff, pupils, and parents. I’m delighted that these results will set our pupils up to pursue the courses they desire, serving as a strong platform for their future success. At this stage, these 2024 results are an improvement on last year, which is truly tremendous. Well done to all. It is a moment to be proud.”
