Parents
School Admissions
All parents receive a Newsletter every week to inform them of news about pupil activities.
Parents receive two reports a year on their child's progress - one a written report, the other a shorter report.
Each year group has a Parents' Evening, when parents can discuss their child's progress with all the subject teachers. In Year 7 there are two Parents Meetings.
The main link between the school and the parents is the pupil diary. Pupils record their homework in the diary. Teachers will also often write personal notes in the diary. Parents can do the same. Thus it is important that the parent check their child's diary regularly.
Drama productions, musical performances, sporting events and exhibitions show the co-operation between staff and parents, for the good of the pupils.
If the parents have a problem concerning their child, they should contact the FormTutor, or Delia Rolls (the School Counsellor) or Mr. Cefai (Headteacher).
