The House System at Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart School established a House System in 2004 in order to promote healthy competition and cooperation amongst all pupils, irrespective of form class or year group. Each pupil is assigned a House upon entry in Year 7 which remains the same until Year 11: Cabrini House (after St. Francesca Cabrini), Becket House (after St. Thomas Becket), Bosco House (after St. John Bosco) and Magdalene House (after St. Mary Magdalene). The House each pupil belongs to can be identified by the colour of the stripe in their tie: Gold for Cabrini, Red for Magdalene, Blue for Bosco and Black for Becket. Pupils participate in a variety of House Events every year; from House Quizzes and Football Tournaments to Spelling Bees and Table Tennis.
