Careers Convention at Sacred Heart

Each year in February we host our careers convention for year 9 pupils who are beginning to consider their options at key stage 4, and for year 10 pupils who are planning their work experience and deciding on which colleges to apply to.  A range of local and national companies attend and provide informal advice and information about various careers in which pupils are interested.

This year we have a wide variety of companies and organisations attending including The Army, The Navy, Kings College Hospital, Her Majesty's  Courts Service,  the Metropolitan Police and a range of local companies including law firms, construction firms and estate agents. As well as this there will be a wide variety of local colleges attending to help pupils think about their post 16 options.

It is always a great success and provides a brilliant opportunity for our students to focus on their ambitions and identify what they need to do to achieve them!
