YEAR 8 BILLY ELLIOT COMPETITION WINNERS!
Congratulations to Elvira Gado and Rebecca Prowse who have been judged the winners of the Billy Elliot review competition!

THE REVIEW:
The Year 8 students of Sacred Heart recently went to see the musical Billy Elliot. As representatives we are going to tell you what they told us about the musical. Brad Wilson (who plays Billy Elliot) has been playing this role for more than two years and has enjoyed every moment of it.

This is one of the comments from one of the students who attended: "He was one of the most outstanding actors out of them all and kept me on my feet."

Some of the teachers who came to the musical were Mrs Yamada, Mr Williams, Ms Sulleiman and they were nice and helped the children understand the play by telling them why they made these decisions.

They all said it was the musical of the season and one of the teachers commented saying the musical event made them jump from their seats and on to their feet.

We both think it was inspiring to young people and that it is a fabulous play!
