OFFICIAL - TOP SCHOOL IN SOUTHWARK

Today 13th January 2010, the Department for children, schools and families published the official 2009 Secondary School Achievement and Attainment tables.
These confirmed that Sacred Heart School achieved yet another phenomenal set of GCSE results.
82% of our pupils achieved 5 GCSEs A* - C including English and Maths - the government ‘gold standard’.

In addition, 93% of pupils achieved 5 GCSEs A* - C overall - a truly remarkable result considering the high number of A* and A grades across all subject areas.

Headteacher, Serge Cefai, says, “The students, supported by the outstanding teaching, have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results.  Every year 11 student has had the opportunity to fulfil their potential.  I look forward to hearing lots more good news about courses they will move on to.  Sacred Heart students have a track record of academic success.  Equally importantly however, they leave Sacred Heart with a traditional sense of skills, values and community that enables them to go on to build successful futures”.
